JEN IDLEMAN

Illustrator, Designer, Teacher

I have been springing from one medium to another with the joy and attention span of a toddler for the last two decades. With each new bound, I learn to create a little more dynamically and think a little differently. If I could, I would simultaneously spend a lifetime and a mere moment with each beautiful way I can express myself artistically. But as I can do neither, I am content with living and loving each, then leaping to the next as time allows.

LOVE & LUCK

I grew up in a small town in southeast Missouri and went to school at the Savannah College of Art and Design to study Illustration and Graphic Design. My intended career in Illustration took a turn, however, when I fell in love with teaching. I have been sprinting down that path for the past 15 years and I love every minute I'm in the classroom. That said, I am a better art teacher when I am also an art maker. Though it is often difficult to hold both, I am trying, nonetheless, to forge a path in betwixt the two. Wish me luck!
